Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
Access to clean water and proper sanitation is a cornerstone of ICHIO’s mission. We install boreholes and rainwater harvesting systems to provide safe drinking water to underserved communities.
WASH
Our sanitation projects include building latrines in schools and public spaces to reduce open defecation. Through hygiene promotion workshops, we educate communities on handwashing, menstrual hygiene management, and safe water storage. By improving WASH conditions, we aim to reduce waterborne diseases and enhance the overall well-being of Ugandan communities.
